On 5 March, our school’s English Theatre group proudly presented their production of „The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe“ in the school’s Sophie-Barat-Saal. In front of an enthusiastic audience, the students brought the magical world of Narnia to life on stage.

The Pevensie children stepped through the wardrobe and suddenly found themselves in a snowy forest. A lonely lamp-post glowed softly in the falling snow, the trees stood tall around them, and the air felt crisp and fresh, as if they had entered a completely different world. From that moment on, the audience was transported into the magical land of Narnia.

With expressive acting, creative staging, and great teamwork, the cast told the story of the White Witch’s icy rule and the hopeful return of Aslan. The performance captured the adventure, courage, and wonder of this timeless classic.

An incredible stage set, created by Alina Hosiner’s “Designwerkstatt” course, helped bring the story vividly to life and transformed the stage into the magical landscapes of Narnia.

The evening was a great success and the audience rewarded the students with warm applause for their hard work and passion, making it a truly magical evening for everyone.
