Last week, it was time for the English Theatre’s big performance of the play “Wizard of Oz”. Katharina Riegler’s adaption of the classic has been in rehearsal for months.

The 4A supported the play with a ukulele performance of “Somewhere over the Rainbow” and the “Designwerkstatt” course built the set.

A young girl named Dorothy unintentionally travels to the land of Oz with her house. On her way to the Emerald City, where she wants to ask the Wizard of Oz to help her get back home, she meets a scarecrow, a tin woodman and a lion, who all accompany her on her journey. Throughout the trip, they discover their strengths and develop a deep friendship. Although the wizard is unable to fulfill their wishes in the way they had hoped, all their wishes do come true in the end.

Many accompanied us on the journey of four unlikely friends and once again the students were able to win over the audience with their amazing talent.
